Dr. Asamoto, Dr. Matsuda, Dr. Kurashige, Dr. Okazaki and Dr. Takahashi visited to Sri Lanka to explain core-to-core program and to discuss the issues of hot weather concreting in Sri Lanka at University of Moratuwa. Dr. Takahashi introduced his research work and it is discussed that the plastic shrinkage under tropical weather should be investigated.

Then, we visited the cement factory of Siam City Cement in Puttalam to understand the production of cement in Sri Lanka. In final day, we visited to ready-mixed plant of Tokyo cement and two ongoing construction projects in Colombo (Altire project and Lotus tower).
