[CONCLUDED] “Prison Circle” film screening held
The Center for Gender, Diversity and Inclusion will hold a film screening. This time, we will screen the documentary “Prison Circle” directed by Kaori Sakagami. This is the first documentary film in Japan that allowed cameras into a prison. The film focuses on a dialogue-based rehabilitation program at the Shimane Asahi Rehabilitation Program Center, the prison where the film takes place. With this film, we would like to encourage everyone to think about the ideal society in which every individual can live with dignity.
