The Saitama University Center for Gender, Diversity and Inclusion will hold an FD/SD training session on Zoom entitled “Unconscious Bias and Diversity in Universities” as part of its efforts to raise awareness on the university’s goal to actively recruit female faculty members and achieve a 24% ratio of female faculty members.
All faculty members of the university should attend this session.

Lecturer:Dr. Reiko Urade (Professor Emerita, Kyoto University;
Specially-Appointed Professor, Institute for Integrated Radiation and Nuclear Science, Kyoto University)
Based on the current state of recruitment, training, and promotion of female researchers in Japan, Dr. Urade will talk about unconscious biases and how to overcome them.
