私費外国人留学生入学料・授業料免除制度の審査基準変更について【Regarding the Revision of the Screening Criteria for the Admission and Tuition Fee Exemption Program for Privately Funded International Students】
「埼玉大学私費外国人留学生入学料・授業料免除制度」では、学業成績の優秀な外国人留学生の受入れ促進および入学後の奨学支援を目的として、以下のとおり審査基準を変更いたします。
Under the “Saitama University Admission and Tuition Fee Exemption Program for Privately Funded International Students,” the screening criteria will be revised as outlined below, with the aim of promoting the enrollment of academically outstanding international students and providing scholarship support after admission.
変更内容 Details of the Revision
従来の「学業基準および家計基準による審査」から、家計基準を廃止し、学業基準のみで審査を行う方式へ変更します。
申請者のうち、学業成績の上位者に対し、予算枠の範囲内で全額免除または半額免除を実施します。
The screening method will be changed from the previous system based on both academic and financial criteria to a system based solely on academic criteria, with the financial criteria being abolished.
Among the applicants, full or half exemptions will be granted in descending order of academic performance within the limits of the available budget.
適用者 Eligible Students
※1 学部生は、後期授業料のみが免除申請の対象となります。
※1 For undergraduate students, only the second-semester tuition is eligible for the tuition exemption application.
※2 大学院生で令和9年度以降に学部から修士課程・博士前期課程、または博士前期課程から博士後期課程へ進学した者も適用対象となります。
※2 Graduate students who advance from an undergraduate program to a master’s program, or from a master’s program to a doctoral program, from Academic Year 2027 onward are also eligible.
留意事項 Notes
- 免除申請は、学期ごとに受付を行います。
Applications for tuition exemptions are accepted each semester.
- 免除の可否および免除区分は、年度ごとの予算枠や申請人数により決定されるため、毎学期同じ結果となるとは限りません。
The approval of exemptions and the type of exemption granted are determined based on the annual budget allocation and the number of applicants; therefore, the outcome may differ from semester to semester.
