Why I entered GSC program

As one of the major environmental protection countries, Japan's environmental major focuses on cultivating the concept of sustainable development, mastering knowledge of pollution prevention, environmental planning, and resource protection. Here, I can learn new environmental testing and protection technologies. Green and Sustainable Chemical Technologies (GSC) eases the economic pressure of students, and we can focus more on scientific research to contribute to environmental issues in China and even the whole world.

Research title

Studies on atmospheric Nanoplastics, allergenicity of pollen and house dust mite

Research abstract

HDM (indoor) and pollen (outdoor) have been consistently found to be the strongest associates of bronchial asthma, common respiratory allergy. NPs floating in the air is the vector of pollen allergen or pollen is the vector of NPs should be identified at first due to the different staying space of pollen and HDM. And then, the allergenicity of pollen and NPs can be enhanced by each other will be identified. Moreover, we will focus on the effect of NPs on pollen/HDM allergenicity. According to the previous researches, the pollen allergenicity can be inhibited by essential oil, so, the Der p 1 allergenicity can be inhibited by essential oil will be conducted.
