Pre-arrival Guide for New Students of the SSED Program 

There are several procedures that accepted students must complete, including those related to scholarship offers, visa applications, accommodation, and arrival.
The university will contact you from time to time regarding the necessary procedures, information, and required documents.

Your prompt and accurate responses to these inquiries are important to ensure that the process proceeds smoothly.

Important information after your arrival 

There are several important procedures to be compleated after your arrival

 1. Arrival at the International house (I-House)

  You will receive information related to the I-House before your arrival in Japan.
  Information includes,
    a. Your accomdation building and room number.
    b. How to obtain your room key.
    c. How to pay your room and other charges.

The university will contact you regarding the I-House prior to your arrival and will pre-reserve an appropriate room for you.

 2. Entrance Ceremony and Orientation

  You will receive information related to the entrance ceromany and orientation through emails.

    a. Entrance ceramony

      Venue: Daigaku Kaikan (University Hall) 3rd floor

  The university will provide you with a set of application forms during the orientation. Please submit the duly completed forms by the specified deadline.

    b. Orientation for Student Life and I-House Guidance

      Date and Time: To be added
      Venue: To be announced

 3. Saitama prefecture residence, National health insurance and National Pension

    Please also complete the necessary procedures at the Sakura Ward Office, including the application for exemption from the National Pension.
    It is mandatory to complete the procedures for registering your address at the ward office, as well as enrolling in the National Health Insurance and the National Pension System.
    You may apply for an exemption from the National Pension at the same time.
